Delete Your Account

Last updated: October 2026

You can permanently delete your Ready2Roam account at any time, from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Please read this page first — some things are removed, and some things are deliberately kept.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open Ready2Roam — Launch the app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings — Go to Profile → Account Settings.
  3. Tap "Delete Account" — Scroll to the bottom of Account Settings.
  4. Confirm your identity — For security you will be asked to re-authenticate. Depending on how you signed up, this means re-entering your password or completing Apple or Google sign-in.
  5. Confirm deletion — Review the confirmation screen and tap Delete. Your data is removed within seconds.

What Gets Deleted

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The following is removed from our servers, usually within seconds:

  • Trips, trip plans, stops, saved routes, and baseline profiles
  • Expenses, incomes, and budgets
  • Journals and journal entries, including your private photographs
  • Vehicles, saved places, and checklists
  • Receipt images and profile photos
  • Your AI conversation history
  • Cloud sync metadata and backup history
  • Any trip, comparison, or report you have shared by link — the link stops working immediately

All local data is erased from the device you delete from, at the same time.

What Is Kept, and Why

Some things are not deleted. This is deliberate, and each has a reason.

  • Community contributions. Places, reviews, ratings, corrections, photographs, and vehicle specifications you contributed remain in the community database with your identity removed. Other travellers rely on them, and ratings you gave form part of aggregate scores that cannot be recalculated without them. Photographs have their embedded metadata — including GPS coordinates — permanently removed before they are ever stored. Once anonymised, a contribution is no longer personal information.
  • Vehicle maintenance records. Kept with no link to you, because they may be shared with Ready2Tow.
  • Newsletter subscriptions, waiting-list entries, and messages you have sent us. You gave these separately, and you can withdraw them separately. Deleting your account does not unsubscribe you.
  • Shop order records. If you buy something from the Ready2Roam shop, the order and payment record — what was ordered, the amount, and the delivery and contact details you gave at checkout — is kept for as long as our legal, tax and accounting obligations require. Orders are placed as a guest at checkout and are not part of your account, so deleting your account does not remove them.
  • Anonymised analytics. Feature usage counts and crash reports that contain no identifier and cannot be linked back to you.

Important: Subscriptions

Deleting your account does NOT cancel your subscription. Ready2Roam subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not by us, and we cannot cancel them on your behalf. If you have an active Nomad Pro subscription you must cancel it separately, or you will continue to be charged.

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Ready2Roam → Cancel
  • Android: Play Store →Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ready2Roam → Cancel

If You Also Use Ready2Tow

Ready2Roam and Ready2Tow share a single account. Deleting your account in Ready2Roam removes your Ready2Roam data only — your Ready2Tow data is untouched, and you can still sign in there.

To leave entirely, delete your account from each app. When the last one is deleted, your sign-in account itself is removed.
