If your caravan has ever caught you out — a water tank emptier than you thought, a battery that didn’t make it through a cloudy stretch, a service you meant to book three months ago — V1.1.95 is for you. This release is about knowing where your rig stands before it surprises you. Here’s what’s new, grouped by what it does.
Know What You’ve Got Left
The headline feature is Off-Grid Resource Estimation. Ready2Roam now turns your rig’s tanks and battery into something far more useful than a percentage: days remaining. Set your fresh water, battery, and gas capacities once, tell it roughly how you use them, and the dashboard shows how long each will last at your current pace — “≈7 days of water,” and so on. Open the detail view for a per-resource breakdown with usage trends, so you can see whether you’re on track or need to plan a top-up, and battery estimates factor in your solar generation and typical sun, so you know your real off-grid runway rather than a guess. A quick setup wizard walks you through it in a couple of minutes. Off-Grid Resource Estimation is a Nomad Pro feature.
Every Service, On the Record
Your rig’s maintenance now lives in one place. The new Service History lets you log every service — oil changes, brake inspections, gas system checks, tyre rotations, awning services, and more — with friendly labels, dates, costs, and notes, and link each one to a reminder so nothing slips. It’s free for every user. And if you also tow with Ready2Tow, the services you log there appear in your Ready2Roam history too, marked with a “Logged in Ready2Tow” badge, so your whole rig’s record is together (unlocking the Ready2Tow records requires Tow Pro).
Reminders That Have Your Back
Alongside service history, Ready2Roam’s reminders got broader. New resource alerts warn you when water, battery, or gas is running low, so a quiet tank doesn’t become a problem at 9pm. They sit next to your existing reminders for service due, and for registration, insurance, and roadside cover — each one a simple toggle in settings, so you choose what you want to hear about.
Now in Three More Languages
The app now speaks Spanish, Italian, and Dutch, on top of English, French, and German — six languages in all. Switch any time in Profile.
Quietly Laying the Groundwork
Not everything in this release is on screen. A good part of V1.1.95 went into the foundations — a full refresh of the platform Ready2Roam is built on, and new groundwork in both the backend and the app itself. It’s the least visible kind of work and some of the most important: it’s what clears the runway for the next release, which brings some of the most exciting things we’ve built yet. More on that soon.
