Ready2Tow 1.0.3 is out, and this release is about making the app a place you come back to — not just for a weight check before a trip, but to read, save, and share what you learn along the way. Here's what's new.
The Blog, Now Inside the App
Every towing-safety guide, weight and tyre explainer, and release note we publish now lives inside Ready2Tow. Open the reader and browse articles formatted for your phone — proper headings, tables, and images, not a cramped web page squeezed into a mobile view.
It's the same library that backs this website, so the guide you started reading at home is waiting for you in the app when you're on the road.
Found one that helped? Tap Helpful at the end of the article. You'll see how many other travellers found it useful too — a quick way to spot the guides worth your time.
Save Articles for the Road
Tap the bookmark on any article and it drops into your Saved list. Because the reader keeps saved articles on your device, they're there when you need them most — parked up at a remote campsite, at the boat ramp, or anywhere the signal drops out. No spinner, no "you're offline" message. Just the article you saved.
Share Your Own Story
Towing knowledge is hard-won, and a lot of it never makes it past the campfire. The new Community section lets you submit your own story or tip straight from the app — the setup that finally balanced your load, the mistake you won't make twice, the trick that saved a trip.
Sharing is always your choice. Before anything is submitted there's a clear consent step that spells out what you're sharing and how it may be used. You'll find the new Community entry in Settings, alongside the controls for managing what you've shared.
Under the Hood
A few improvements you'll feel more than see:
- Faster rig setup. Creating a new rig now offers an AI-assisted path that reads your details and fills in the specs, so you spend less time typing and more time towing.
- Cleaner sharing. Shared safety reports now open in a tidy in-app viewer, and the app is smarter about avoiding duplicate records when your Ready2Roam and Ready2Tow accounts sync.
- Housekeeping. Updated terms and the usual round of fixes and polish across the app.
Get the Update
Ready2Tow 1.0.3 is rolling out now on the App Store and Google Play. If you have automatic updates on, you'll have it shortly — otherwise, a quick trip to your app store will bring it down.
